My husband and I were married for 10 years, had two children. He had contracted Herpes few years ago. We thought that if we didn't have sex during an outbreak that I was safe from contracting it. Wrong! I had a terribly bad initial outbreak which I at first thought was the worst yeast infection I had ever had. Three days later, he had an outbreak and I went to the doctor and was tested positive. We are still together and will be.
