Trust and honesty 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 1
Hello All

This is my first post to this forum. I was diagnosed with genital herpes in September.I've been deeply depressed becouse I don't have anyone to talk about.I have to thank you all because I found some answers for my problem.

I told my new girlfriend that I have genital herpes. After that she did all this research on the virus and supplements.I'm so happy that I found such an understanding girl!

Hay,
You must be having lots of trust in your partner and of course it should be but when we talk about this disease, Here it is so necessary to have trust and you should be so honest to yourselves.

Dating may sound like a depressing chore When you have herpes. You may be afraid that you will frighten a possible partner away whenever you tell them you've herpes. But having herpes is not the end of the world. I found my boyfriend and many good friends. Good luck to you all!

the same happened to me. just 3 weeks after i contracted genital herpes i met my boyfriend and we are now in love. he is the most supportive person i have ever met and if i ever have a moment of weakness or if i just need a little cry or a talk, hes always there for me without fail and just holds me. he makes me feel safe and wanted. and for anyone who is reluctant to start a relationship because of herpes then dont be. having someone you completely trust and who supports you unconditionally helps you accept it yourself. if anything, the disease has made us incredibly strong as a couple because we are able to talk about everything and i am completely open with him.

and if the man you start dating runs or cringes when he finds out about the herpes, its proof that hes an utter tool. and you DO deserve better. you must continue believing that.
