Should I go for lasik if I am diagnosed with ocular herpes?

It is caused by herpes simplex type 1 and as you know there isn't cure. Lasik surgery can be very problematic in same cases as my doctor told me as there is possibility of blindness.

The best is to start with topical and antiviral treatments and lasik surgery should be last resort.

Also, you must be sure that it is not corneal abrasion as it can look the same as ocular herpes.

Ophthalmologist can check that and you can be sure.
