Hi, I am wondering how long it takes for Valtrex to start working ? I have been on it 2 months and seem to be having little 30 hour outbreaks every two weeks. I think that this is not normal or valtrex is ineffective.

Maybe you need higher dosage of valtrex.

There are no studies regarding this. If it doesn't work for you, you should change valtrex for other herpes treatment.
