Hi,
Glad to hear your story. You love each other very much. Using condoms for sex is essential precaution. It is very painful experience to have hsv2. I am glad to hear that your husband stands for you in every condition.

I've had herpes for a few years, and usually use acyclovir cream and famcyclovir pills for it. I guess those help a bit, but I heard good things about dynamiclear treatment, and I'll chime in and recommend it. It speeds up the healing a lot, and sometimes prevents the outbreak altogether for me, if I slather it on when I get itchy.

I'd recommend Dynamiclear. It dries up the blisters quickly, and I've found if I use it in time it can even prevent blisters from forming. You can do a Google search on it.

Hi everyone,

I have HSV - 1 genital herpes, I was getting regular outbreaks until I started taking valtrex daily and the outbreaks have completely stopped (touch wood).

Over the last two weeks I have been getting what look like small spots around my mouth, although they look like spots they dont seem to be going away like spots and are just becoming small red marks. They are not blisters and they don't really look like cold sores that i have seen. Could this be oral herpes? Is there a chance that the herpes has spread from genital to oral?

I am not even sure it is herpes around my mouth its just that i dont normally get many spots and as they are around my mouth I am just wondering if it could be oral herpes. I thought maybe it wouldn't be herpes as I am taking valtrex daily, does valtrex work the same way for genital and oral herpes?

Any advice or help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks
