Hello: I was diagnosed with breast cancer and just finished 4 chemotherapy treatments. I had a my first herpes outbreak because of my weak immune system. The doctor put me on Acyclovir 400mg 3 times a day. Then after it healed 2 times a day to prevent another outbreak.
That was a bummer! I finished the treatment and again had a breakout one week after the treatment. I also broke out in hives and had a fever for 2 weeks..The doc stopped the meds..Again, I am having an outbreak. Anyone have anything similar.
